bokbindare. Född d. 22 mars 1814 i Rhen-Hessen. Föräldrar: borgmästaren i Gau-Bickelheim Domenique Beck och Catharina Carlin. B. kom 1840 till Stockholm och blef 1843 egen bokbindaremästare. Han sökte på allt sätt höja yrket, särskildt beträffande praktband. Erhöll 1882 Litteris et artibus.

Gift 1851 med Julia Charlotta Carlsson. Död i Stockholm d. 15 maj 1888.
