Preface to the electronic edition

This work from 1860 has in December 2007 been digitized at the University of Toronto by the Internet Archive, from where the scanned images in February 2024 were copied to Project Runeberg. We have white-balanced the page images, making them more pale. The OCR text, apparently remade by the Internet Archive in December 2023, was not to our standards, so we made our own with ABBYY Finereader 15.
