A HISTORY OF SWEDEN

By CARL GRIMBERG Translated and Adapted for the American Teacher, Student, and Reader By C. W. FOSS AUGUSTANA BOOK CONCERN ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS COPYRIGHT 1935 BY Augustana Book Concern AUGUSTANA BOOK CONCERN Printers and Binders ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS

Preface to the Electronic Edition

As mentioned in the printed preface, this 1935 book is an English translation of selections from different works by the author. Just before 1935 were published the 10th edition of "Sveriges historia för folkskolan" (Sweden's history for primary schools) and also a new edition of "Sveriges historia i sammanhang med Danmarks och Norges" (Sweden's history in connection with Denmark's and Norway's). Apparently, the book was digitized in November 2003 as part of the Million Books project or Universal Digital Library, uploaded in October 2006 to the Internet Archive, from where the scanned images and OCR text in November 2023 were copied to Project Runeberg.

This volume was scanned elsewhere and made available by the Internet Archive, from where the scanned images were copied to Project Runeberg. We very much appreciate that they have made this possible and want to encourage other digital library projects to follow their example. Read more about Project Runeberg's image sources.
