Preface to the electronic edition

The Swedish original Gösta Berlings saga was published in 1891. This English translation from 1918 has been digitized in October 2007 at the University of Illinois for the Internet Archive, from where the scanned images in August 2020 (and the OCR text in February 2023) were copied to Project Runeberg.
