Anm. Ett underförstådt substantiv, som är bestämdt af ett
adjektiv, ersättes vanligen medelst ordet one (genit. one’s, plur. ones).
One utsättes dock icke, om det underförstådda substantivet a)
bestämmes endast af ett räkneord, eller b) om det utgöres af ett
ämnesnamn eller c) ett abstrakt begrepp.

Förstärkningsordet allra återgifves med very framför
superlativer på est och med of all efter superlativer med most.

the smallest of all. 4. Captain U. has two large (great, big)
